About URWA
The residents of Dhakoli residing in various residential complexes have collectively taken initiative to form a Unified Residential Welfare Association (URWA), which has been registered under the Registrar of firms & societies under Registered No. 6383. This is, one of the only Association which have been formed with a zeal to work upon common problems of the residents and push initiatives like Swachh Bharat Mission.
URWA will work towards the Overall Welfare of the Dhakoli Area, identifying and resolving Common problems of the residents, Facilitating the residents with basic amenities with the Strengthening of security arrangements by ensuring proper methods & mechanisms to be in place. The Association will put in continuous efforts for overcoming any developmental, functional & operative challenges.
Current Happenings
In order to ensure that this Deepawali bring prosperity to all the residents of Dhakoli, URWA has decided to celeberat this week i.e. 11th Oct 2025 to 17th Oct, 2025 as Dhakoli Cleanliness Week with the support of Municipal Council, Zirakpur. Further to enhance this spread and mark maximum participation, various event partners have consented to join this initiative. The following event partners are participating:

Group of Societies
Presently 17 RWAs have been associated with URWA and are working for the betterment of Dhakoli.
Gulmohar Trends, Solitaire Divine, Wellington Estate, Dashmesh Enclave, Motia Heights, Kamdhenu Homz, Vasant Vihar Ph1, Guru Nanak Nagar, The Hermitage, Ganesh Vihar, Vasant Vihar Ph2, Shalimar Enclave, Shiva Vihar, New Generation Apartments, Krishna Enclave, Regalia Towers & Spangle Heights.
Aims & Objectives
- To create close contact amongst the members of the Association and to promote fellow feelings goodwill, cooperation and brotherhood.
- To uphold secular, democratic and humane feelings and to promote national integration.
- Proper maintenance of common facilities viz; roads, streets lights, greenery, sewerage & water sanitation, waste disposal, animal menace etc.
- To appeal/inform the Administration, in case of any illegal encroachments, misuse of public land, any other illegal or unwanted activities.
- To provide and maintain other facilities/amenities/activities, which the Association may decide like co-ordination with Civic, Electricity, Police, District Administration & elected Civic Body of the area.
